Drafty Kites Mod 1.12.2 is an addon for the Volarkite mod by The Betweenlands. The addon causes Volarkites to grow in the void.
For your information, the Volarkite for Minecraft is a glider created by The Betweenlands. In some common circumstances, the altitude reduces at a persistent rate. However, this will not happen when you are over some special blocks. When you install the Addons mod mentioned above, that action will have a small change:
- When you pass over the void, there will be a small updraft for the Volarkite. It will have 20 ticks used every 300 ticks, which can be configured.
This will allow you to use it as an early type of travel in a Skyblock setting.
Drafty Kites requires nothing but Minecraft Forge. Hence, make sure you install Forge before you launch the mod.
