Better Safe Bed (Forge/Fabric) Mod 1.18.2/1.16.5 adds a warning message to Minecraft. You will be warned if some monsters are near your bed.
It must be safe when you take a sleep. However, if there is a monster that is within 8 blocks of the bed in a horizontal way and 5 blocks in a vertical way, you will be warned. By installing the Miscellaneous mod above, a warning message appears on the screen. This warning message tells you that you cannot sleep if the monsters are close to you. Instead, you must stay awake and wait until they leave or are defeated so you can take a sleep after that. The message will appear like this:
“You may not rest now, there are monsters nearby”
Try not to take a sleep if there is a monster near your base or when you put the next right beside the wall. It is all for your safety when it comes to sleeping in a survival adventure game like this. Better Safe Bed is a server-side mod. Hence, you just put it on the server without needing to put it on the client unless it is used in single-player mode.
Here are the requirements of the mod:
- For Forge, you have to install Minecraft Forge and Can’t Sleep Clowns Will Eat Me.
- For Fabric, you have to install Fabric Modloader, Fabric API, and Monsters in the Closet.
