Builtin Servers Fabric Mod 1.18/1.17/1.16.5 provides all modpack creators with the ability to form integrated servers. You don’t need to ship a preset server.dat file.
This Server Utility mod for Minecraft is simple to use since it does not require complicated processes. It definitely fits a lot of modpack makers in terms of setting up built-in servers. Instead of sending a pre-formed server.dat file, you can directly add default servers that appear in the server list when the modpack is downloaded. You simply launch the mod once then start editing the config file that is made at .minecraft/config/builtinservers.json.
After you have implemented the above process, you start transferring the config file with the modpack and the mod. The new instances are equipped with your servers. However, the old instances have no custom servers lost when you give an update to your modpack.
Builtin Servers is a mod made for Fabric. Therefore, you have to install Fabric Modloader and Fabric API so it can be functional in the game.
