Default Options Mod 1.18.2/1.16.5/1.12.2 is available for mod pack developers to use so they can distribute default options and keybindings. It’s easy to complete the mission without overriding user changes on each mod pack update!
Default Options Description
It’s possible to send a “defaultoptions” folder in your mod pack that includes the defaults saved through the /defaultoptions command. It’s unnecessary to ship the options.txt directly anymore!
Key features
For the first time, you will begin with the settings that you’ve configured.
Next modifications cannot override once updated.
Keybinds reset by the mod pack will be the new defaults.
Changes by users will exist even on updates.
The server list is pre-formed with the collection that the pack gives.
Tips
Configure selections, keybinds with the server list as you want them to move
Launch /defaultoptions saveAll to store those in the directory
Transport the folder
Fresh installations to deploy with your auto choices
If you control FoamFix Anarchy Version, turn off B:initOptions in the FoamFix config!
