Fence Overhaul Mod 1.12.2/1.10.2/1.9.4 fixes the basic mechanism of the fences in Minecraft. You can use plenty of diagonal fences now.
Instead of using vanilla fences, now, you can try some new diagonal fences. This Cosmetic mod makes changes to the basic fences. Its purpose is also to make your experience much better. To get this type of new fence, you will need a new recipe. After you have crafted it, you can place it in the new form rather than the old one. Besides replacing the vanilla fence, the mod also lets you make things with the combination of the vanilla edition and the upgraded edition. According to the mod creator, there will be some fence-based upgrades released in the forthcoming time. This will lead to some changes of names and crafting recipes as well.
If you want to make the fence system much better, then Fence Overhaul is the mod for you. It requires the installation of Minecraft Forge for it to function in the game.
