Just a Few Fish Mod 1.12.2/1.11.2/1.10.2 introduces several fish types. These new fish entities can be used as alternatives to Minecraft vanilla fish items.
Since the vanilla fish items are not good enough yet, the author decided to add some himself. Hence, you have some fish entities to catch and breed now. There are four of them to catch. They are all based on fish items.
- You can find Cod in each biome type.
- To catch Salmon, you can go to rivers, swamps, as well as oceans.
- The Pufferfish and Clownfish will appear in oceans only.
There is also a Fish Tank featured in the mod. It is known as a multi-block structure. It is also a place where the fish will not despawn. There are several ways for you to catch fish, for instance:
- Use a sword to catch then stab them.
- You can also use a fishing rod to draw the fish’s attention to catch them.
The way you breed the fish is also simple:
- You use seeds to breed them.
- Try to throw the real seed items into the fish tanks. This lures the fish to come to eat them.
- Then, you will have a fish farm for yourself.
Just a Few Fish is a mod that aims to diversify the aquatic environment. The mod only works in the game if it has Minecraft Forge installed.
