It’s straightforward to stack them!
You can place a stick under one crate to tilt it.
Shift-Click on a crate to put stack crates in the same block slot.
Strike the target with an axe to pull the stick out (In the Creative Mode, right-click with a stick to toggle that)
Replace the stuff with appropriate wood kinds to generate numerous dissimilar crates
Market Crates is a free cosmetic mod that asks you to install Minecraft Forge so it can run. It’s a release that is effective to improve your storage issues.
