Modular Routers 1.12.2

Modular Routers [Forge] 1.18.2/1.16.5/1.12.2 is a mod that is useful to move stuff around the world in many different ways. It offers a single block and numerous plug-in module items.

Summary

The single block that you receive from the mod is the Item Router. With it and modules, you can:

  • Pull objects from an inventory (comprising modded inventories such as Storage Drawers)
  • Send them to other inventories nearby and far
  • Put down something as blocks
  • Break blocks
  • Drop anything into the world
  • Absorb dropped items
  • Fling what you want across the world
  • Sort whichever, consisting of some sophisticated filters, more than only item/meta/NBT matching
  • Void things you don’t need
  • Remotely interact with your inventory
  • Extend and diminish lines of blocks (drawbridges)
  • And so on

How it works

There are various possibilities to craft exciting objects. Other mods can do all of the abilities above. Meanwhile, the present mod can implement these jobs in one block by plugging in the proper combination of modules.

It’s available for every major Minecraft release from 1.10.2 to 1.17.1, except 1.13.x.

The entire new development is currently on 1.16.5 and 1.17.1. The owner will not launch any development on releases earlier than 1.16.5. He will not support those earlier releases.

Modular Routers Compatibility

Modular Routers has integration with the following mods.

  • WAILA
  • TheOneProbe
  • Guide-API (a guidebook will appear if this mod is at hand)
  • JEI (tooltip additions for a couple of crafting recipes)
  • Tesla (if it’s present, it’s feasible to charge Tesla-supporting items in a router)

Not only that, the developer has successfully tested it with inventories from:

  • Actually Additions (crates)
  • Storage Drawers
  • Iron Chests
  • Quark (extra wooden chests)
  • EnderIO (item buffer and machines)
  • Mekanism (bins and machines)
  • Immersive Engineering (conveyor belts)

Notes!

MR won’t eject whatever directly into Mekanism logistical transporters. However, you can configure pipes to pull from an item router.

It will eject the target into EnderIO item conduits.

Immersive Engineering conveyors run nicely with item routers. They can insert anything into the buffer. The Sender Mk1 or Dropper modules are workable to eject something onto a conveyor belt. The Dropper module seems to operate better.

So, the current edition should work well with any mods using standard Forge or legacy inventories. Remember that legacy inventory support has been removed as of v3.0.0 for Minecraft 1.12!

Modular Routers is a mod that is helpful for you with energy, fluid, and item transport.
