There are some notes that you need to learn.
First and foremost, every modpack with modes should use the current addon. That is not difficult to understand. Indeed, you can reset them while you are going to play Minecraft.
If you are a modpack creator, it’s unnecessary for you to clarify to the player how they can edit the pack-mode. What you can do is to say that they have to move into Options and click on Pack-Mode.
Remember that the modes will be collected from the packmode.cfg! So, there are no hardcoded modes.
