Sodium Extra Fabric Mod 1.18.2/1.17.1/1.16.5 aims to enhance your FPS in Minecraft. The mod has nothing to do with CaffeineMC’s Sodium mod.
You may want to know what the Sodium mod is about. It is known as a rendering engine that is used as an alternative to Minecraft client. The purpose of the modification is to boost the frame rates, decrease micro-stutter, as well as repair some issues in terms of graphics.
About Sodium Extra, it is a modification for Minecraft Fabric. It does not have any connection with the Sodium by CaffeineMC. Hence, you should not ask for support from the original author. Here are some features of this Fabric mod:
