Tough As Nails Mod 1.18.1/1.16.5/1.12.2 supplements survival features to the game. The new additions will level up the difficulty level and realism, for example, thirst, etc.

It offers a survival environment with the aim is to increase the difficulty through realistic elements. Besides, there are many items, drinks, potions, armor, so on.
It’s a “soft relaunch” for 1.16.4 with only thirst obtainable for now. The author will not be updating the wiki properly until after MC 1.17. It means that is also when they will be re-adding body temperature and other items.
It’s a closed source mod as well. Previous versions are still licensed as Creative Commons BY-NC-ND 4.0. The source of those releases exists at GitHub.
Tough As Nails is a mod that will give you more food. It requires Minecraft Forge so it can operate.
