The Zombie Awareness Mod enhances the intelligence of zombies and skeletons in the game. These creatures now have an increased ability to detect players from a greater distance. Activities like mining generate noise, which can attract them to the player. Additionally, they are drawn to light sources and can attack in groups.

This Minecraft mod focuses on making hostile monsters more intelligent. It enables them to sense players’ blood, hear their actions, and locate light sources, making it easier for them to find players.

When a player’s health decreases, they might start bleeding. This bleeding leaves red marks on nearby blocks, which hostile monsters can detect. The blood spots gradually fade away. Players below 60% health or with fewer than 6 hearts will bleed every 30 seconds, leaving a scent for monsters to follow.

Various player actions, such as mining, placing blocks, and walking, create sounds that can alert hostile monsters within approximately 16 blocks. Frequent noises are audible from a greater distance than infrequent ones.
