Better Diving Mod 1.16.5/1.12.2/1.11.2 allows players to move faster under the water in Minecraft. You can also do some activities without getting drowned.
Your underwater adventure is much simpler now thanks to this Better Diving mod. It aims to improve the Player Transport aspect when you are under the water. You can move fast as well as do several tasks without harming your health.
The mod does better the vanilla diving experience even though it does not change any mechanics in vanilla. Here is what it fixes and betters:
- It modifies your movement in the water. You will not automatically sink. Instead, you just swim in the direction that you are looking.
- The oxygen system is revised. It allows you to dive for 45 seconds rather than 15 seconds.
- When you smash something underwater, the smashing speed is quite similar to the smashing speed when you are outside of water.
- You can equip yourself with diving equipment. This increases the speed of moving and mining. Besides, you can dive longer.
You can also explore some interesting additions such as items (Diving Mask, Standard O2 Tank, Wetsuit Leggings, Fins, etc.), some plants, new ores, and a new vehicle (Seamoth). Better Diving requires Minecraft Forge to function in the game.
