Actually Baubles Mod 1.12.2 has released Baubles capability to a few items in another mod, Actually Additions. It is supporting many different objects at the moment.

Notes
The edition aids 1.10, 1.11, and 1.12.
There will not be a bauble version for Actually Additions rings. That happens because these only works if you keep them on hand.

Actually Baubles is a cosmetic mod that revolves around armor, tools, and weapons. It needs you to download and install Minecraft Forge as well.
