Common Capabilities Mod 1.18.1/1.16.5/1.12.2 includes some basic abilities that are quite handy for various mods. The mods don’t have to count on each other.
At first, this API and Library mod was a small section of Integrated Dynamics. It aimed to enhance the reading ability of many mods. Then, this has been divided into Common Capabilities. It is because other mods can probably take advantage of the capabilities without needing Integrated Dynamics. The new mod does not only bring new content, but it also adds some enhancements to the current interactions.
Here are the capabilities in some mods added by this mod:
- Temperature (for Forestry, Vanilla Minecraft, and IC2): You utilize for things with a certain temperature.
- Wrench (for Charset, Forestry, Ender IO, and IC2): You use it for items that permit wrenching.
- Worker (for Ender IO, Forestry, IC2, Tinkers’ Construct, EvilCraft, and Vanilla Minecraft): It shows if a machine is able to function. It also comes with work.
- Slotless Item Handler (For Colossal Chests and Integrated Tunnels): This is an edition of the common item handler which is quite slot-agnostic.
