When you have some extra accessory or equipment slots, you can add various items from other mods there for many uses. The above API and Library mod brings you those slots. It does not only let you add slots, but it also lets you configure them to your likings.

The library mod was made by TheIllusiveC4. By default, Curious only adds an inventory GUI to the game. However, it is equipped with more features that seem to be quite useful:

  • Various equipment slots. They can be extended through a core library. You can add new slots then manage them via an identifier registry.
  • You add slots only when you feel a need.
  • You can customize and control all slots.
  • The slots come in backgrounds and sizes.
  • You choose items via the vanilla tag system. You find it easy to categorize items into curio types, which is just like you make a .JSON file in the folders of data, curios, or tags.
  • Everything can be accessed from just a single GUI.

The mod can be equipped with various inventory mechanics. Any items added to the curio slots can be consistent with Mending and Curses.

Curios API for Forge supports Curious Shulker Boxes, Curious Elytra, and Curio of Undying. The mod itself also needs Minecraft Forge to be usable in the game.
