About Hopper Ducts mod
Specifically, this mod will add 2 variations of hoppers, which are funnels with filters and funnels. The funnel with a mesh filter is a basic type of funnel, allowing filtering and item classification. Meanwhile, the conduit is the main component of the mod, working similarly to the standard pipe style.
It should be noted that the conduit can bring items to the inventory on it. The conduit can change direction after placing it using 1 stick. Left mouse button to rotate in the desired direction, right mouse button to reverse.
Ducts automatically navigate to neighboring pipes or hoppers. Press the Sneak key when placing the conduit to disable this action. Also, it has a smaller hitbox, making it easier to reach the block behind it.
The filter funnel holds an additional row of items on its surface. This is the filter. Only items that match this row are allowed to be in hoppers from chests, hoppers, or pipes on them.
The main purpose of the filter funnel is to prevent the upper duct from removing items that are suitable for the filter mesh. Besides that, the item is still inserted into the filter from the sides or from the bottom even if it does not fit into the filter.
You can put anything in the filter hopper, have it remove the matching item and move it to the destination inventory, use the normal hopper or the side filter, push the unsuitable item out and move it anywhere.
