Hunger Overhaul Mod 1.12.2/1.10.2/1.7.10 makes the hunger of players more challenging. This also improves the hunger mechanic in Minecraft.
Sometimes, hunger is also a real challenge for players on their survival adventures. Hunger is an element that you should pay attention because it affects the way you play the game. It happens when you have a need for food.
Although the hunger element is made more of a challenge, there are still some features that compensate for that challenge. For instance:
- The food replenishment values were rebalanced.
- The author decreased the effects of some foods from other mods.
- Food now has a tooltip.
- You can harvest without replanting through right-click.
- When your health or hunger is low, there is a GUI text displayed.
You have to quickly eat food when you are low on health, otherwise, you will get negative effects. You get a “Well Fed” effect after eating food. Then, it will grow health regen for you.
All features in Hunger Overhaul Mod can be toggled through the config file. So, you can adjust them to your likings. The mod requires Minecraft Forge, AppleCore, and HarvestCraft (highly recommended).
