Spirit [Forge] Mod 1.17.1 allows you to create a crystal to capture the souls of mobs. You can use it in the soul cage to spawn clones of those mobs.
About Spirit mod
Soul Shards for Forge is the inspiration to create this mod. Note that the mod is not compatible with Iris without making changes to your Spirit settings.
You can use spirit_client.json in your config files to disable shaders. Keep in mind that the shader will break when Iris is present.
After installing this mod, it will allow you to create multiple blocks from a piece of soul and or earth surrounded by 4 warped wart blocks.
Of course, you can light up souls and light fires easily. Feel free to throw a cluster of amethysts at the soul fire to create a Soul Crystal. Warped wart blocks and amethyst clusters will be consumed upon creation.
To make a soul cage, break a spawner to get a broken spawner. You can then use this broken spawn tool to create a Soul Cage by throwing it into soul fire.
Spirit is really an interesting mod that you should experience in the future.
