Advanced Fishing Mod 1.12.2 features lots of new fishes and other cool items. It aims to make changes to the fishing mechanics in Minecraft.
There are plenty of creatures in different biomes for you to explore. Among them, fishes seem to be popular creatures with a good spawn rate. Besides, fishes can also be used as a good source of food. So, if you want to explore more fish types, you can get this experience through the installation of the mod mentioned above. It does not only add new fishes but also a recipe for luck potion as well as a Blazing Fishing Pole. You can catch the new and vanilla fishes in lots of biomes, dimensions, and even liquids.
Here are some fishes you can catch in different biomes:
- In desert savanna and mesa, you will catch sight of a Cod, a Squid, a Sandy Bass, a Golden Koi, and a Sunfish.
- In jungles, there is a Cod, a Squid, a Piranha, a Sparkling Ell, and a Mandarinfish.
- When you venture into swamps, you will see a Cod, a Squid, a Ruffe, a Mud Tuna, and a Swamp Plaice.
- In snowy biomes and taiga, there is a Cod, a Squid, a Snowy Walleye, a Frost Minnow, and a Glacier Anchovy.
To get the Blazing Fishing Pole, you must search for it in the Nether Fortress chests. The item also appears in the lava. Advanced Fishing needs to have the installation of Minecraft Forge.
