Caelus API Mod 1.18.2

Caelus API Mod 1.18.2/1.17.1/1.16.5 is a core mod that allows mod developers to approach elytra flight mechanics via an entity attribute.

The task for the Minecraft mod developers when using this API and Library mod is to call the CaelusAPI.ELYTRA_FLIGHT attribute if any. The default value for the attribute is 0, and it prohibits an elytra flight. The elytra flight will be activated if the attribute value is 1 or more than 1. There is also a change made to the vanilla elytra item for utilizing this attribute. No changes were made to its behavior.

Here are the features you can use when you are on version pre-1.16:

• Toggle Elytra: It is easy for you to toggle the elytra using a keybinding (default V). You can apply it even though you use elytra flight or not. The elytra flight will not be activated when you turn it off. However, when it is on, you can use it normally.
• Trigger Elytra: You can turn on the elytra flight without using jumps. This feature is used by a keybinding. You can still apply this regardless of being in mid-air or on the ground.
• Simple Takeoff: If you utilize the Trigger Elytra keybinding from the ground, you can place a firework by holding down the key after the elytra has been turned on. In other words, you just hold down one key rather than using three steps for the takeoff process, including jump, jump, then utilize firework.

Caelus API is for Forge, so it must have Minecraft Forge installed to function.
