Aroma1997s Dimensional World Mod 1.12.2/1.10.2/1.7.10 allows the players to prevent Quarry holes from ruining your Overworld when playing with other mods. It will provide some new possibilities as well.

Craft a few Stone Bricks with a pickaxe to collect a special type of bricks
It’s pretty more difficult to break these bricks than normal stone bricks. They will open another realm called the Mining World.
Build a five blocks high and four blocks wide wall with three by two pit in the middle. The shape is similar to Nether Portal.
It’s essential to have a new tool to generate the portal.
Create several stone bricks, a flint, and steel, with a stick together to gain the portal igniter. Right-click the portal frames with it and wait for a moment to see what happens next.
Aroma1997s Dimensional World is a server utility mod. It’s necessary to download and install Minecraft Forge to access!
