Dense Ores Mod 1.11.2/1.10.2/1.7.10 adds many dense versions of ore blocks to the game. It is able to create about 1-10 dense blocks for each chunk.
What is Dense Ores Mod?
They have introduced dense versions of ore cubes that can drop 3x the items that the regular ore will. Generating will be capable of replacing already created ores. It can increase totally in ores of around 5%.
The textures for the dense ores are from the base ores texture in an active way and the equivalent stone ones.
So, it’s unessential to form a new texture for your texture packs.
It’s possible for you to add new ores through the config system. There are examples of those details on GitHub.
Remember that it is mainly for mod pack developers! It’s not suitable for basic users.
