Performant Mod 1.16.5

Performant Mod 1.16.5/1.15.2/1.12.2 aims to enhance the performance and blocklag of Minecraft. You can put this mod on either server or client.

If the mod is installed on the client-side, it will have an influence on the SPP performance. Meanwhile, if it is on the server, it will have an effect on the SMP performance. You can also use the mod in your favorite modpacks. All the features of it are configurable. Besides, it allows you to tweak, enable or disable those features in the config file.

Here is what the mod features:

• The AI overhead is not much anymore. The AI will not spend half their time making a decision on the task they should operate.
• AI/Entities, Tileentities, and Events now have the load balancing. Load balancing is a mechanic that seems to be more invasive. It aims to decrease lag offenders. The mechanic has a chance to have an influence on the functionality of other mods. However, it only functions when the game is already lagging.
• There is an improvement to the FPS for rendering entities.
• There is multithreading for entity collisions and pathing.
• You can set up the login timeouts to log into the game and disconnect as you play. This is useful for players who have slower PCs and connections.
• There is an improvement to the recipe lookups, which is now much faster.
• The world updates are also faster now. The random block, as well as chunk ticks, are all faster. They don’t cost much performance either.

Performant is a Server Utility mod functioning on Minecraft Forge as well.
