CIT Resewn Mod 1.18.2 is a standalone mod for fabric. It is available to offer more useful loading error messages for cits that it cannot load.

About CIT Resewn
MCPatcher’s CIT re-written outside of optifine as an independent mod that is obtainable for Fabric.
You can connect to the documentation for more information at https://citresewn.readthedocs.io/
How it works
MCPatcher owned a feature: Custom Item Textures (or CIT for short). Optifine adopted it afterward.
Custom Item Textures helped resourcepacks take the place of the items once they met conditions.
The present mod implements exactly that. However, it runs as a standalone Fabric mod that doesn’t ask for you to install MCPatcher or Optifine.
The format of the release is as same as the MCPatchere/Optifine’s CIT.
The mod will search for .properties files under:
`assets/minecraft/citresewn/cit`
`assets/minecraft/optifine/cit`
`assets/minecraft/mcpatcher/cit`
It also gives more effective loading error messages for cits that it does not load.
Support
Always try to support Sodium. Nevertheless. It is a design that can operate without that.
Will not consider Optifine during the development. If you have Optifine, you don’t need to have the current creation.
About Forge
Forge is a kinda doodoo at the moment and Fabric’s Mixins is what lets the mod inject cits into vanilla comfortably.
