MineTogether Mod 1.16.5/1.15.2/1.12.2 brings a chatbox to your client. It links you to the main server of the CreeperHost so you can have a talk with other players.
The purpose of the mod is to bring an enhancement to the multiplayer mode. As you know, Minecraft is a game that you can play with other players. However, it does not have a function for you to chat with them. Hence, you can use this mod if you want to have a talk with any player that is online and utilizes MineTogether. With this mod, you can install with your favorite modpack or a certain mod then chat with players who are using the mod as well. You can send a chat to them by utilizing the chat box featured in it. Not only that, but you can also make friends with other players, change between the channels like “in-game” or “world”, or invite your friends to join you in mini-games.
